Stress Test Planned for Monday
Arena.Net has announced that a Guild Wars 2 beta stress test will be conducted for a limited number of hours on Monday, May 14th from 11:00 a.m. PDT to 6:00 p.m. PDT. The goal of the test is to pack the servers with players to ensure stability.

The other week we hosted our first Beta Weekend Event, when hundreds of thousands of players who pre-purchased Guild Wars 2 got their first chance to play the game. This was a huge milestone for ArenaNet; with no NDAs and no press embargoes, the beta version of Guild Wars 2 would have to stand on its own before the full force of the Internet.

First Beta Weekend Event Link Roundup
ArenaNet has posted their link roundup from the first beta weekend event along with a thanks to everyone who participated. This was a true beta and they really did need a lot of help figuring out bugs and things that go along with beta. The Day After
The Beta event weekend is over and boy did we have fun! After a rocky start on friday, we finally got to see what this game was all about, and I think most of us were in for a positive suprise. I truly believe GW2 will be a groundbreaking MMO and here's why.

Choosing and Transferring Worlds in Guild Wars 2
For our first Beta Weekend Event (April 27-29), home-world selection and world transfers will work just as they will when Guild Wars 2 launches. When you log in to the game for the first time, you will have the opportunity to pick any available server, or home world.
